Chiropractic

A rehab-based chiropractor combines traditional chiropractic care (spinal adjustments, joint mobilizations, soft tissue work) with active rehabilitation strategies like corrective exercises, strength training, stretching, and functional movement retraining. Instead of focusing only on short-term pain relief, this approach aims for long-term recovery, injury prevention, and optimal performance.

Dr. Burzin is a chiropractor with a strong passion for bridging the gap between injury to rehab to performance. As both a clinician and a runner, he understands the unique demands of sport and the importance of returning not just to baseline, but to a higher level of strength, resilience, and performance. Specializing in lower limb and low back injuries, Dr. Burzin works extensively with runners and athletes dealing with issues such as shin splints/bone stress injuries, tendinopathies, ankle sprains, post-op rehab, ankle sprains and persistent low back pain. Dr. Burzin works extensively athletes to guide them from early rehabilitation through to full return to sport. His approach is rooted in progressive loading—focusing on mobility, stability, and strength before layering in conditioning and sport-specific demands. Whether recovering from injury or striving for performance goals, his programs are designed to meet athletes where they are and take them where they want to go. A graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Dr. Burzin also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. He has further training in running injury rehabilitation and bone stress injury management, along with certifications in the McKenzie Method® for low back pain, Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), Myofascial Release Technique, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy. Dr. Burzin combines manual therapy, exercise prescription, and S&C principles to ensure a complete pathway from rehab to return-to-play. His mission is clear: help athletes and active individuals recover stronger, move better, and perform at their best—on the field, in the gym, or on the road.
